How to update your billing information

If you need to change your payment method or update your billing details, you can do so from your account or billing settings.

To update your billing information, log in to your account and navigate to your profile or billing section. From there, select the option to manage or update your payment method. You will be redirected to Stripe, which securely handles all payment processing for Next Chapters.

Next Chapters does not store your credit card information on its own platform. All payment details are securely stored and managed through Stripe. When you update your billing information, you are updating it directly within Stripe’s secure environment.

After updating your payment method, future subscription charges will be processed using the new information. If you recently experienced a failed payment, updating your billing details may restore your subscription once the issue is resolved.

Changes to billing information do not affect your books, chapters, worksheets, or account history. They only affect how your subscription is paid going forward.

If you are currently on the free plan, you will not see billing options until you begin the subscription process.

Keeping your billing information up to date helps prevent interruptions to premium features such as Book Chat, AI-assisted worksheet tools, and other subscriber-only capabilities.
