How to unsubscribe from paid features

You can unsubscribe from paid features at any time from your account settings.

To unsubscribe, log in to your account and navigate to your profile or billing settings. Locate the subscription section. There is a one-click unsubscribe button that cancels your active subscription.

When you click unsubscribe, your account is downgraded to the free plan. No additional payment will be charged after your current billing period ends, depending on your billing cycle. Once your subscription expires, premium tools and enhanced features are no longer available.

Unsubscribing does not delete your account. Your books, chapters, worksheets, and past contributions remain intact and viewable. However, your access to subscriber-only functionality changes.

After downgrading to the free plan:

You lose access to Book Chat.

You can no longer use AI-assisted features inside worksheets.

You cannot generate new AI worksheet responses.

You cannot create new premium worksheets that require a subscription.

You retain access to view worksheets and content you previously created, but enhanced tools are disabled.

In other words, your work remains, but the advanced tools used to create or enhance that work are no longer available while you are on the free plan.

If you later decide to resubscribe, premium features are restored, and you can continue using enhanced tools on existing worksheets and books.

Deleting your account is a separate action. There is a separate button in your account settings for permanently deleting your account. Deleting your account removes your access entirely and may affect your content and contributions depending on book type and role. Unsubscribing only changes your access level. It does not remove your account.

If you are unsure whether you want to downgrade or delete your account, choose unsubscribe. You can always upgrade again later.
