How to change your password from your account settings

If you are already logged in and want to update your password, you can change it from your account or profile settings. This is different from resetting your password, which is used when you cannot log in.

To change your password, log in to your account and navigate to your profile or account settings. Locate the password section. You will be asked to enter your current password first. This step confirms your identity and protects your account from unauthorized changes.

After entering your current password, enter your new password and confirm it. Once saved, your new password becomes active immediately.

Changing your password does not affect your books, chapters, worksheets, submissions, or contributions. It only updates the credentials used to access your account.

If you suspect that someone else may know your password, change it immediately. If you are unable to log in because you do not remember your password, use the password reset process instead.
