What to do if you do not receive a verification or login email

If you are trying to log in or verify your account and do not receive an email from Next Chapters, there are a few common things to check before reaching out for help.

First, give the system a moment. Login and verification emails are usually delivered quickly, but in some cases email providers may delay delivery slightly. If the message does not appear right away, wait a minute or two and then check again.

Next, check your spam, junk, or promotions folder. Automated login and verification emails are sometimes filtered by email providers, especially if this is the first time you have received an email from Next Chapters. If you find the email there, marking it as not spam can help ensure future messages arrive in your inbox.

You may also want to add @nextchapters.com to your email provider’s safe sender or contacts list. Doing so helps prevent future login, verification, and notification emails from being filtered or delayed.

Make sure the email address you entered is correct. Login and verification emails are only sent to the email address you provide. If there is a typo or the address does not exist, the message will never arrive.

When you create an account, you are taken directly to your dashboard as part of the signup process. Until your email address is verified, your access to the platform is limited. If you realize you entered the wrong email address during account creation, you can correct it from your profile. Click your avatar image in the upper right corner of the page and select Profile. There you can review and update the email address associated with your account and request a new verification email.

If you created an account with an incorrect email address and then logged out before verifying it, you will need to create a new account using the correct email address. Because email verification is required before you can create books, write chapters, or check out books, nothing will be lost by doing so.

If you requested a magic login link and it did not arrive, you can return to the login screen and request another link. Each request generates a new link, and only the most recent link will work. Older links automatically expire.

If you continue to have trouble receiving emails after checking spam folders, confirming your email address, and adding Next Chapters as a safe sender, support can help verify your account and assist with access.

Once you are logged in successfully, future access is usually smoother, especially if you choose to set a password in addition to using email login links.
