Forgot your password? How to reset it
If you have forgotten your password or want to set a new one, resetting your password on Next Chapters is straightforward and does not require contacting support.
From the login screen, you can reset your password whether you are viewing the magic email login option or the email and password login option. On both screens, you will see a “Forgot password?” link. Selecting this link will prompt you to enter the email address associated with your account.
After submitting your email address, the system will send you an email with a secure link to create a new password.
When the email arrives, open it and click the reset link. This link will take you to a page where you can choose a new password for your account. After submitting your new password, you will be able to log in using that password going forward.
If you typically access the platform using emailed login links instead of a password, you may not need to reset your password at all. Passwords are optional for users who prefer to log in via magic email links. However, setting a password can be useful if you want the flexibility to use either login method at any time.
If you do not receive the password reset email, check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, confirm that you entered the correct email address and try again. Password reset emails are only sent to email addresses that are already associated with an existing account.
Once your password has been reset, your access level does not change. If you are a paid member or using a full access coupon, you will continue to have access to subscriber tools and private books after logging back in. Free accounts will retain the same access they had before the reset.
